Screaming Infidelities Returns!

If you haven't yet heard about Screaming Infidelities (Hersh & Cavi) be prepared for the most exuberantly melancholy party of your life.  As a pre-party for Alt 92.1's Snow Show, we will be spinning your favorite emo, pop punk, punk, and indie rock tunes.  We also encourage you to participate in the fun and sing along with us on stage! 

During the fun we will be giving away 5 pairs of tickets to the first annual SNOW SHOW at the F.M. Kirby Center featuring none other than Dashboard Confessional and special guest Tigers Jaw, AJR, and SYML.

End of Summer Wrap UP

Another summer has come to a close and everyone here at BeatTeks.com would like to say thanks to everyone who came out to party with us.  Thanks to special guests Dj Aktive, Dj React, and Dj Spinbad for coming through and rocking.  Thanks to the whole River Grille staff for hustling like no other, and thanks to a safe, warm summer. Style Saturdays at Senunas'

We are ready to kick of a brand new school year and with that comes Style Saturdays!  The premier night of music for downtown Wilkes-Barre.  Each and Every semester we take you on a roller coaster ride of music inside the downtown's #1 College Bar, Senunas'.  We are excited to provide sounds for King's and Wilkes in downtown Wilkes-Barre for what is our 6th year straight.  So come down, early, late, in the middle, but don't be surprised if there is a line out the door ;-)

Introducing...

This year as a joint project with Joe Caviston at the Electric City Music Conference I will be joining forces with the aforementioned to create and do something a little different.  

Screaming Infidelities, a duo featuring Cavi and Hersh will be hosting an Emo Night at none other than the BOG in Scranton.

We'll be spinning all of your favorite emo, punk and screamo tunes.
- Bring your dancing shoes and your singing lungs.
- Dance, sing, and remember a simpler time when emo music was king. Remember the Metro, remember Homebase, remember The Zoo, remember Backstage, remember the Staircase.

Electric City Music Conference/Awards

We have once again been honored to have 2 of our DJs nominated for ECMC awards for 2017.  Both Jay Velar and Dj Hersh were nominated for "Best DJ" this year along with the pair being nominated for "Song of the Year" for their remix of Ed Randazzos cover of "Be My Husband".  We greatly appreciate the nominations and look forward to joining the many talented entertainers at this years awards in September.  Head on over to NEPA Scene for more information!

Our 2nd party of the summer is going to be a great follow up to the Summer Kickoff.  For our next jam we have enlisted the talents of DJ React.  A well known cat from the Philly area.  He has been grinding and doing his thing with his very popular and long running podcast the "Musical Stew" If you have a chance please check it out here. Last weekends Summer Kickoff with DJ Aktive was a huge success!  Thanks to everyone who came out, enjoyed a great night with friends, danced, and had a great time.  WE appreciate you coming and gettting down with us.  We have more to come in the next two months and hope you can join us for our next two events on July 8th and August 5th.  Peace and Love.

Summer Kickoff 17

Yes! The summer is finally here and the deck at the River Grille is hotter than ever.  We are ready to bring you a very special guest to set the summer off right.  Our friend Dj Aktive is coming to help us make sure you cut a rug.  So June 10th bring em out to the river grille for what is sure to be a killer party! 

Mustache Bash #7!

The 7th annual Mustache Bash is coming May 25th.  And again we are set to bring you a great night of food, fun, dancing and prizes!  Entertainment from the great Robb Brown followed by Kohn, Britt and Brandon Rice, with Dj Hersh rocking from 10-2.  Come down and spare some bucks for a good cause, our charity this year is once again Carve For Cancer. 

Carve 4 Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the mission of shredding blood cancers through extreme sports
events and fundraising. Carve was founded by east coast shredder and blood cancer survivor, Brent P. Evans. In 2010, Brent was diagnosed with stage IV non-hodgkins lymphoma when he envisioned an epic snowboarding event to raise funds to kick cancer’s ass while being treated at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. By 2012, the first grass roots fundraiser was underway in the Pocono Mountains. Fast forward to 2016, Carve is now the Pocono’s premier freeride snowboard/ski event raising thousands of dollars, showcasing bands and local talent, while spreading awareness and funding life-saving research! Unfortunately in 2016, Brent’s cancer came back, and he is currently fighting to beat the disease again at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in NYC. This is a brutal reminder about how important Carve for Cancer’s mission really is!

SUMMER is (almost) here!

The summer months are upon us and with that come great parties!  We have a bunch of great events coming your way.  As always our great partners at The River Grille will be hosting most of these events. 

Starting with everyone's favorite charity event, THE MUSTACHE BASH! This year like many before will bring another great Thursday night event that brings together old friends and new for a good cause.  Each year we pick a great charity to donate proceeds too.  With specials, entertainment, and plenty of raffles the night is always a big hit!  Don't miss this year's Mustache Bash on May 25th only at The River Grille.
